 India’s indigenous ‘Bhargavastra’ counter-swarm drone system was successfully test-fired. 

About Bhargavastra 

• Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited (SDAL) has designed and developed a new low-cost Counter Drone System in Hard Kill Mode called ‘Bhargavastra.’  
• Bhargavastra is engineered to simultaneously detect and eliminate multiple drones.  
• It employs micro rockets to accurately target and neutralize incoming drones, particularly those flying in swarms.  
• According to SDAL, this technology offers a dependable defense against drone intrusions, especially in sensitive or disputed areas.
