  • It is a four-day cultural extravaganza of Northeast India.
  • The festival aims to foster exchanges in traditional handicrafts, handlooms, and agro products, becoming a catalyst for the region's growth and development.
  • The Mahotsav is being held as a part of Udyan Utsav 2024 organized by the Ministry of DoNER in partnership with the Culture Ministry.

  • Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) inaugurated state-of-the-art andrology care department.
  • AINU is India’s largest single-specialty hospital network of Urology & Nephrology Care.
  • The department offers wide range of comprehensive andrology care services from addressing sexual dysfunction and male infertility to providing specialized emergency and cosmetic andrology solutions ensuring a seamless continuum of precision and personalized care for men.

Etihad Airways Sponsored Chennai Super Kings

  • United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) national airline Etihad Airways sponsored Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Indian Premier League (IPL).
  • The partnership covers CSK’s events and platforms and provides exclusive deals to team fans.
  • The team’s jersey will be displayed with the Etihad logo in IPL.

Airbus A220 Aircraft Doors to be Manufactured in Bengaluru

  • Airbus signed an agreement with Dynamatic Technologies to manufacture all doors for the single-aisle A220 family aircraft in India.
  • Under the agreement, the Dynamatic Technologies will manufacture and assemble the cargo, passenger and service doors along with the over-wing emergency exit doors for the A220 family aircraft.
  • This Bengaluru based company is already exporting made-in-India products worth $750 million and came under Make in India initiative.
  • The A220 is ideally suited for India’s Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and promoting economic growth across the nation.

MSME Minister Launched Smart Cards for Startups

  • Tamil Nadu’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister T.M. Anbarasan launched ‘Smart Cards’ for startups.
  • The department of MSME has also distributed a capital subsidy of 9.05 crore to four start-ups owned by individual from SC/ST communities under the Tamil Nadu SC/ST Startup Fund.
  • The Smart cards are designed to lend a hand to start-ups in accessing the essential services required for their growth & operations including human resources, legal advice, IT, media, and publicity at a discounted rate.
