Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Introduced Jetting-cum-Suction Vehicle

  • The Thiruvananthapuram City Corporation launched a jetting-cum-suction vehicle.
  • The vehicle aimed at collecting waste with lower moisture content and enhancing the efficiency of septage waste collection.
  • The jetter system will spray a water jet into the septic tank, and the suction pump will subsequently collect both the water and the waste material.

Saurabh Vatsa Appointed as Deputy MD of Nissan Motor India

  • Nissan appointed Saurabh Vatsa as the Deputy Managing Director.
  • He will report to MD Rakesh Srivastava and support in implementing the ongoing Nissan transformation roadmap for India.
  • He comes to Nissan from Stellantis, where he served as a member of the leadership team and led the Citroen brand.

Telangana Signed Agreement with WEF for Setting Up C4IR in Hyderabad

  • The World Economic Forum and Telangana signed an agreement for setting up the Centre Fourth Industrial Revolution network (WEF-C4IR).
  • This collaborative initiative marks the ‘first thematic center focusing on health tech and life sciences.’
  • The C4IR aimed at generating jobs in the healthcare sector and fostering collaboration between the government and small and medium enterprises.

Deepti Sharma Awarded ICC Women's Player of the Month

  • Indian Women cricketer Deepti Sharma has been awarded the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's Player of the month for December.
  • She is the first Indian Women's cricketer to win the ICC Player of the Month award since Harmanpreet Kuar who won it in September 2022.
  • She delivers impressive performances in India's home series against England and Australia.
  • She secured the award by surpassing Jemimah Rodrigues and Precious Marange.

Odisha Chief Minister Inaugurated Shri Jagannath Heritage Corridor Project

  • Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the heritage corridor project around the historic Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri.
  • The heritage corridor named Srimandir Parikrama Prakalpa was inaugurated in the presence of Gajapati Maharaja of Puri Divyasingha Deb.
