  • World Human Spirit Day is annually observed on 17th February.
  • The day was first established in 2003 by Michael Levy, a peace activist and author.
  • The day aims to promote positivity, resilience and the indomitable human spirit or power that lies within everyone to face adversity with courage and determination.

NutriAIDE App

  • The National Institute of Nutrition and Augsburg University, Germany launched the NutriAIDE mobile app.
  • The app promotes healthy and sustainable nutrition through AI-based photo recognition, food content tracking, and environmental impact assessment.

India and Colombia Signed MoU on Digital Cooperation

  • India and Colombia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of sharing digital solutions implemented at population scale for digital transformation.
  • It was signed between the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the Information Technologies and Communications of Colombia.
  • The MoU aims to foster digital transformation through the sharing of India’s open-sourced Digital Public Infrastructures (DPIs), particularly focusing on India Stack Solutions.

Ravichandran Ashwin Joined Elite 500 Test Wicket Club

LIC Launched Amritbaal for Children

  • The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) launched a non-participating product ‘Amritbaal’ for children.
  • It is a non-linked, non-participating, individual, savings, life insurance plan.
  • The minimum entry age is 30 days with the maximum being 13 years. The age of maturity must be between 18 to 25 years at the last birthday age.
  • The minimum sum assured is Rs. 2,00,000, with no limit for the maximum basic sum assured.
