Justice Surya Kant 

Justice Surya Kant Appointed as the Executive Chairman of NALSA 

National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) was established in 1995 under the Legal Services Authorities Act of 1987 to oversee and assess the effectiveness of legal aid programs. It is also responsible for developing guidelines and principles for providing legal services under the Act. Additionally, NALSA allocates funding and grants to state legal services authorities and non-profit organizations to support the implementation of legal aid systems and initiatives. 

Lt. General Rajiv Ghai 

Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai conducted a press briefing regarding Operation Sindoor, praising India's multi-layered air defence system for successfully preventing Pakistan from targeting Indian airfields and logistic installations. 

Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai is the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the Indian Army, an important position he took up in October 2024. He has a distinguished military service of more than three decades, with notable operational, command, and staff assignments, particularly in sensitive regions such as Jammu and Kashmir. 

Air Marshal AK Bharti 

Air Marshal AK Bharti issued a strong warning to Pakistan, referencing a verse from the Ramcharitmanas, following recent military tensions between India and Pakistan. 

Air Marshal AK Bharti is the Director General of Operations at the Indian Air Force. 

Bharti was commissioned in the Flying Branch in June 1987. He assumed the position of DG Air Operations in October 2024. 

Vice Admiral AN Pramod 

In a recent press briefing on Operation Sindoor, Vice Admiral A. N. Pramod delivered a strong message to Pakistan, declaring that India is prepared to respond decisively if provoked. 

Vice Admiral A. N. Pramod, AVSM, is an active flag officer in the Indian Navy, currently holding the position of Director General of Naval Operations. 

Major General SS Sharda 

The Indian Armed Forces briefed the nation on Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror infrastructure in PoJK and Pakistan's Punjab province on May 7. The press conference was led by four key officers, including Major General Sandeep S. Sharda, who played a vital role in the planning and execution of the operation. 

Major General Sandeep S. Sharda currently serves as the Additional Director General of Strategic Communications. He is the designated "nodal officer" responsible for issuing notices to intermediaries, such as social media platforms, when violations occur regarding the sharing of information related to the armed forces.
