Ardens Antonsen and An Se Young 

The Indonesia Open 2025 saw Anders Antonsen’s breakthrough win, An Se-young’s continued dominance, and France’s first Super 1000 title, marking key milestones in global badminton. 

• Anders Antonsen triumphed over Taiwan’s Chou Tien-chen with a straight-game win of 22-20, 21-14, finally ending his long wait for a major title after falling short in the 2019 and 2024 finals. His emotional celebration reflected the culmination of years of perseverance and hard work. 
• An Se-young’s Stunning Comeback 
  World No. 1 An Se-young staged a remarkable comeback against China’s Wang Zhiyi, winning 13-21, 21-19, 21-15 after losing the first game. This marks her second Indonesia Open title, adding to her 2021 victory and reinforcing her dominance in women’s badminton.
