About World Milk Day 

• It was established by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations. 
• The celebration began in 2001. 
• The theme for 2025 is “Let’s Celebrate the Power of Dairy”. 
• The day aims to celebrate the dairy industry and its contributions to health and nutrition. 
• It witnesses global participation from over 100 countries. 
• The Global Dairy Platform leads the organization of events and awareness activities.
