  • The award is conferred for an image featuring a slumbering polar bear on a small iceberg titled Ice Bed.

  • The 11th World Government Summit 2024 is set to be hosted in Dubai.
  • The theme of the summit is Shaping Future Governments.
  • India, Türkiye, and Qatar have been declared the guests of honor at the 2024 World Governments Summit.
  • The summit aims to facilitate discussions among over 25 government and state heads worldwide.

Road to Paris 2024: Promoting Clean Sports and Anti-Doping Conference

  • The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) organised Road to Paris 2024: Championing Clean Sports and Uniting for Anti-Doping Conference in New Delhi.
  • The aim of the conference is to educate Indian sportspersons about the pitfalls of using prohibited substances.
  • NADA also unveiled The Paris Pinnacle: NADA’s Guide to Ethical Sporting, a definitive resource offering comprehensive guidelines for athletes preparing for the Paris Olympics 2024.
