• International Day of Happiness is annually observed on 20^th March.
• The day recognizes the importance of happiness in people’s lives and encourages them to promote happiness and well-being.
• The theme of the day is Reconnecting for Happiness: Building Resilient Communities.

Ex Tiger Triumph 2024

• India and US conducted joint military exercise Tiger Triumph 2024.
• It is a bilateral tri-Service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief HADR Exercise.
• The exercise aimed at developing interoperability for conducting HADR operations and refine Standard Operating Procedures SOPs to enable rapid and smooth coordination between forces of both countries.

Arvind Kapil Appointed as MD & CEO of Poonawalla Fincorp

• Poonawalla Fincorp appointed Arvind Kapil as its new managing director & chief executive officer.
• He succeeded Abhay Bhutada and is currently group head at HDFC Bank.

Indian Army Established Signals Technology Evaluation and Adaptation Group

• The Indian Army established technology unit called Signals Technology Evaluation and Adaptation Group (STEAG).
• The unit will operate under the Corps of Signals which handles military communications.
• The unit is dedicated to researching and evaluating futuristic communication technologies like 6G, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and quantum computing for military applications.
