Virat Kohli Won ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year Award

  • Virat Kohli won ICC Men's ODI cricketer of the year 2023 award.
  • He received this award due to his excellence performances in the ODI format particularly during the World Cup held in India.
  • This is the fourth time that he has been honored with this award.

International Customs Day 2024

  • International Customs Day is annually observed on 26th January.
  • The Customs Cooperation Council (CCC) declares this date to be World Customs Day in 1953.
  • The day is celebrated to uplift leadership, guidance and support to the customs administrations across the world.
  • The theme of the day 2024 is Customs Engaging Traditional and New Partners with Purpose.

  • Ola group's AI firm Krutrim becomes the first artificial intelligence unicorn from India.
  • The firm has raised USD 50 million at a valuation of USD 1 billion in a funding round led by Matrix Partners.

  • International Holocaust Remembrance Day is annually observed on 27th January.
  • The day pays tribute to the people who suffered and lost their lives during World War II.

  • Rohan Bopanna became the oldest man to win a Grand Slam in the Open Era.
  • He also won the men’s doubles title along with Australia's Matthew Ebden.

Telangana Governor Inaugurated Three-day Nephrology Conference

  • Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan inaugurated a three-day conference on nephrology at Yashoda Hospital Hitech City.
  • The aim of the conference is to advance the field of critical care nephrology by providing a platform for global experts to share the latest insights and advancements in Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) through plenary lectures, symposia, panel discussions, case presentations, and workshops.
