Meenesh Shah Elected as Chairman of NCDFI

• The National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd. (NCDFI), the national-level apex dairy cooperative, has elected its new Board of Directors.
• In the elections held, Dr. Meenesh Shah appointed as the new Chairman of the organization.
• Established on 7^th December 1970, NCDFI serves as the pinnacle national-level dairy cooperative.
• Governed by the Multi State Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023, NCDFI boasts 20 Regular Members, 14 Associate Members, and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) as its esteemed Institutional Member.

Telecom Secretary Virtually Launches One of “Experimental Licence Module for 100 5G Labs"

• To streamline the operations of 100 5G Labs in academic institutions across India, Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary (Telecom), virtually inaugurated an "Experimental Licence module for 100 5G Labs" during a 5G workshop at IIT Madras.
• This endeavour aims to simplify the requirements for experimental licenses for these labs, promoting smoother functioning and encouraging innovation in the 5G sector.
• The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has allocated '100 5G Use Case Labs' to various educational institutions nationwide.
• The primary goal of this initiative is to nurture competencies and foster engagement in 5G technologies among students and startup communities.
