• The theme for the day 2024 is Empowering Lives, Embracing Progress: Equitable and Accessible Thalassaemia Treatment for All.

Andhra Cricket Association Launched ‘APL Rising Stars’ Initiative

• Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) launched ‘APL Rising Stars’, an initiative aimed at providing a platform for grassroot cricketers to showcase their talent.
• It offers an opportunity for players who are not part of the auction eligible list released by the ACA to participate in trials and potentially earn a spot in the APL.
