India Become World’s Third Largest Solar Power Generator

  • India surpassed Japan and become the world’s third-largest solar power generator in 2023 according to a report by the global energy think tank, Ember.
  • India ranked ninth in 2015 and has substantially expanded its solar generation capacity.
  • The report indicates that its share of solar power surged from 0.5 percent in 2015 to 5.8 percent in 2023.

L&T Elevated R. Shankar Raman as President

  • Larsen and Toubro (L&T) elevated R. R. Shankar Raman as President.
  • Currently, he is a whole-time Director and CFO of L&T and will continue to hold his existing role in the company.

IREDA Established Subsidiary in GIFT City
