PM Narendra Modi Inaugurated First Hindu Stone Temple in Abu Dhabi
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Hindu stone temple in Abu Dhabi by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
- He also offered puja and performed Aarti at the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Mandir after inaugurating the temple.
- The temple is built on a 27-acre site in Abu Mreikhah, as per an ancient style of construction and creation mentioned in the Shilpa and Sthapathya Shastras.
Kaji Nemu Becomes State Fruit of Assam
- Assam state government has declared Kaji Nemu (Citrus limon), a variety of lemon unique to the region, as the State Fruit.
- Kaji nemu occupies a distinctive position in Assam's agricultural scenery and found exclusively in Assam and certain northeastern regions.
- This citrus fruit is revered for its distinct aroma and antioxidant attributes, contributing significantly to the enhancement of local cuisines and traditional customs.
Epic Foundation Launched Milkyway Tablet
- EPIC Foundation launched the first designed in India tablet Milkyway.
- It is the AI-enabled tablet is a collaborative effort between VVDN Technologies, MediaTek India, and CoRover.ai.
- The tablet focus on atmanirbharta (self-reliance) in Indian electronics, aiming to create products with easily replaceable and upgradable components.
- The tablet is integrated with the BharatGPT virtual assistant, aims to enable digital learning and support linguistic diversity in India.
International Childhood Cancer Day 2024
- International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) is annually observed on 15th February.
- The day aims to raise awareness about childhood cancer, express support for young patients, survivors, and their families, and advocate for equitable access to quality care worldwide.
- The theme of the day 2024 is Unveiling Challenges.
Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Vehicle
- Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DAIC) and Brahma Kumaris jointly launched Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Vehicle in New Delhi.
- This vehicle served as a platform for conducting NMBA awareness activities across Delhi-NCR.
- The Display and moving models in the vehicle attract the crowd and they do listen and see the NMBA awareness message. Also, the de-addiction exhibition is printed on all sides of the vehicle.
TEC And Amrita University Signed Mou for Trustworthy and Responsible AI Systems
- Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) and Amrita University signed MoU to drive innovation in the realm of Trustworthy and Responsible Artificial Intelligence Systems.
- The MoU aims to develop tools to assess bias risks systematically and to establish a robust framework for evaluating and certifying the fairness and reliability of AI technologies.
- It also serves to bridge the gap between academia and government bodies, fostering rigorous research and contributing to India’s leadership in AI.
