World Food Safety Day is annually observed on June 7. 

About World Food Safety Day 

• Declared by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2018. 
• First globally observed on June 7, 2019. 
• Jointly initiated by the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) and WHO (World Health Organization). 
• Developed in response to the global burden of foodborne diseases, which affect over 600 million people each year. 
• Theme 2025: “Food Safety: Science in Action”
