• World Water Day is annually observed on 22^nd March.
• The day aims to promote sustainable management of freshwater resources.
• The theme for the day 2024 is

IMT TRILAT-2024 Maritime Exercise

• India, Mozambique and Tanzania conducted Trilateral Exercise (IMT TRILAT).
• The Indian Naval Ships INS Tir and INS Sujata will represent India in the exercise and is planned in harbor and sea phase.
• The first edition of the IMT TRILAT exercise was conducted in October 2022.

• International Telecommunication Union (ITU) appointed India’s Telecom Industry Neeraj Mittal as Co-Chair of Digital Innovation Board.
• The Digital Innovation Board comprises ministers and vice ministers of telecom/ICT from 23 member countries of ITU.
