Cristiano Ronaldo 

Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has been officially announced as the Global Ambassador for the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC) by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF). 

• Cristiano Ronaldo, born in 1985 in Portugal, is a legendary footballer and five-time Ballon d'Or winner.  
• In 2024, he became the first male player to score 900 goals in official matches. 

Jean‑Noël Barrot 

Jean‑Noël Barrot met with S. Jaishankar in Marseille to strengthen defence, security, space, and economic cooperation. 

• Jean-Noël Barrot is a French politician from the Democratic Movement (MoDem).  
• Since 2024, he has been serving as Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Michel Barnier’s government.  
• Earlier, he was Minister of Digital Transition and Telecommunications (2022–2024). 

Pranati Nayak 

Pranati Nayak won her third vault bronze medal at the 2025 Asian Championships in South Korea, becoming India’s most decorated gymnast in the event.

Yajik Hillang from Arunachal Pradesh won gold and silver at the 2025 South Asian Championships, becoming the first woman from her state to do so in physique sports.

• Won gold (Model Physique, up to 155 cm) and silver at the 15th South Asian Championship 2025 in Bhutan. 
• First woman from her state to win international gold in physique sports.

Blaise Metreweli has been appointed as the Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).
